Chad always had a smile on his face. I didn't get the pleasure of becoming his friend. I can say this he loved his family as he was always home or with one of his boys! One of the best co-workers I enjoyed since day one that made my day better every day at the Merrill Company. We became very close friends over the last 7 years. I would always check up on him and talk about life. He would give the best advice you could ask for and he was my mentor. He was the one that set me up on a date with my co-worker. Now my Fiance. If I wasn't for Chad I would probably be still be single. Chad would always talk to me about his family and how he was so proud of them. He was the type of guy that would give his shirt off his back for you or if you were having a bad day he would make you laugh or smile. Chad was one of the good ones that passed away too soon. Enjoy all the Mountain Dew's and American spirits up in Heaven. And I know you will be watching over your family and friends. RIP Chad Wolthuizen

My deepest sympathy to Chad's family. Met him many, many years ago when he worked at the packing house in Hartley. He stuck out in memories, just a nice guy and definitely way to young to leave this earth. RIP Chad, know you are in great hands now.

One of my favorite parts of being out in the warehouse was talking to Chad. I've missed him since my retirement and I know he will be greatly missed at Merrill. Rest easy my friend. May God bless his family with peace and warm memories.
