I just wanted to send my sympathies to the family of George! I got to spend a lot of time with George at church and have fond memories of him during church choir. We sat next to each other and he always had a funny story or joke to share! My family was also lucky to have George and Emma as great neighbors in Hartley! He was definitely a great man with a contagious smile and laugh! Will be greatly missed by many!

Mary, Greg, & Brain - I am so sorry for the loss of your father, my uncle. It's not easy someone you love, but if you keep those wonderful memories alive in your heart, he will be with you always. It's been God's hands that have given us such a great man to be in our lives for 93 years. Uncle George always made me feel loved when he was around. I can remember many trips to Iowa as a kid and the fun times we shared with the three of you, my cousins. Know that my arms are wrapped around you & my thoughts will be with you in the days ahead. Mary, Greg and families, My deepest sympathy to all of you at this saddened time. I remember your parents being at all the HMS games while our kids were in school.
