Phyllis and Bob played an important role in memories of my growing up in Melvin. Card groups, helping with Benz reunions, trips to N. Minnesota - they were always with my parents/family. Phyllis remained a “must see” person whenever home. Condolences to the family and say hi to mom and dad for me!

Phyllis and Bob were like second parents to me. Loved them both. I spent many nights at their home growing up and Phyllis always welcomed me at their table. Our little community is going to miss her. It’s comforting knowing she and Bob are reunited again. Hugs to the family.

I worked with Rita at Farmers Bank in Spencer and this is where I met Phyllis. She would bring in small bouquets for Rita to enjoy and of course she shared with us all! My favorite memory was one day at the north Casey’s where I saw Phyllis at the counter and was going to say ‘Hi” but she was so intent on which scratch tickets she wanted I didn’t want to distract her! Rita told me later how she enjoyed her scratch tickets! I remember her as a lovely, kind and extremely talented flower lady! RIP Phyllis♥️♥️♥️
