Rod was a great guy! I'll always remember that we started our Biker Life in the summer of "69". We were part of the bike club that met in Ocheyedan, and rode the area around Osceola Co. Rod and I had matching blue " 125 twin " Yamahas. in the group with three Hondas. we made a lot of memories that summer. As it happens after High School we all went our own ways. I'm glad to see that Rod was still riding. Ever though my wife and I left Iowa, we took part of it with . we are both still riding our two Victorys made in Spirit Lake. I know that we all will go when it is our time, but one thing I'm sure of, is Rod is riding today. Love you man Denny Tangeman

He's on his last long journey now, On roads that we can't follow, And as we bid our last farewell, We know that he has gone to dwell. In trucking heaven, he'll drive again, On perfect roads that never end, His spirit free, his heart so strong, A trucker's soul forever long. we will miss ya trucker!
