So many fun & happy memories of the parties out at the Tewes farm! Kevin was always up to some mischief which would take you by surprise. The world lost a good guy and heaven gained one!

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Kevin. He did a fantastic job of farming the 80 acres that is located on the left/south side of the road when coming into Hartley on Hwy 18. My Grt Grands would be proud to know that someone locally and related to the family farming that land. My Uncle Shorty and Aunt Marlene would relay messages to our family to let us know what was going on in Hartley and how high the corn was that Kevin had planted.
My condolences to his family and friends. ~Tara Currier-Hofer~ Bridgewater, SD

I always looked forward to Kevin coming to the Locker. He always seemed to have some wild hunting tale to share. When I was little he would put his big cap on my small head and it would cover my eyes.

We are so sorry to hear that Kevin passed away. He was a caring person. He helped my mom on occasion when an opposum moved into her carport. He will be missed. Our sympathy to Jean and the family.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Duff's passing. Always LeRoy's go to guy about guns. Even sold him some. Was waiting for him to get home from hospital to ask about a couple he just came across. By the looks of his video, Duff had a great sense of humor and family will always have great laughs at memories of him. Rest easy, Duff, in OUR Father's home.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Kevin's family also. We were neighbors for almost 15 years and have many fond memories of Kevin coming to our rescue when we needed help. He cleared our driveway after heavy snows, lent us tools and equipment, jump started a stranded vehicle in sub-zero temperatures and always made us feel welcome when we stopped in. He was so kind-hearted and eager to help. We are praying for God's provision of strength and comfort as you grieve his loss. He will be greatly missed by many.

I'll never forget when we had Sam "babysit " Mallory's hamster. We came to pick him up, and Duff had it in his pocket! Then the hamster went into Duff's beard!
He will be missed!
