Aunt Karen was a beautiful person inside and out. She always made everyone feel special and important by listening intently and remembering what you told her. When my dad passed away last summer Aunt Karen called me and left a message that I still have because she was so loving and kind, and because she was the only person in the world who called me Shari.

I first met Karen and Keith 13 years ago as I attended Pastor Tim Nappe's Bible Study called "Lunch with the Bunch!" She was so welcoming and so very friendly! Indeed, Karen invited my husband and me over to their lovely lake home for pizza one night and then Keith took us out for a boat ride another night! We became fast friends who loved to eat out with other Harbor Of Joy church friends and just enjoy each other's company! I credit Karen with being the first one to welcome us at HOJ and encourage me to keep coming back! I dearly loved her!

To the family of Karen Shannon Weber - I was Karen's business teacher in high school; yes, I am forever old in years, but not old in heart. Karen was a senior in the last Fontanelle High School graduating class. She was a teacher's dream of a student; always had her assignments done, always had a smile and a positive attitude, always willing to help her classmates, and never missed school. She was also an outstanding athlete; in the era of six-on-six basketball. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Jan Wollenhaupt

I was so saddened to learn of the passing of your mother. We were classmates and played together on the basketball team. When we were freshmen in highschool we made a goal that we would play in the state tournament when we were seniors- and it happened. What a wonderful memory. She was a beautiful person, inside and out.
Love to your families ,

What a great loss. I have such fond memories of this special woman. Many revolve around our childhood through high school and anything sports related. Doc and Karen were such special people to my parents, as well. Blessings during this time.

I had the pleasure of being a personal friend of Karen and also a church sister friend. Karen was always at the heart of any generous endeavor at our church. It was always done anonymously where she didn’t want credit for doing it but for her love for people and for our Lord. She loved helping at church with Joy Kids, Bible Camp, and visiting elderly and nursing home. She was humble with a huge heart…..truly Jesus hands and feet. We will miss her so much. Karen is deeply loved by all. We will cling to the words “only a temporary separation. “

We will miss our friend, Karen. She has a friend to my mom Josephine Knutzon. She visited
her often at Keelson Harbor. My husband Jim and I enjoyed our friendship with Karen.. We loved to talk about Cyclone Games. You had a beautiful and kind Mom. She left this earth too soon. I know that she joined your wonderful father in heaven. Our deepest sympathy!. Barbara and Jim Rohlf
