Dear family of Katy Vander Velde: We wish to express our sincere sympathy on the passing of your mother and grandmother. What a blessing to have celebrated her life for this many years. I talked to an Aunt of mine from CO who was a good friend of your Aunt Ruth Van Maanen and she proceeded to tell me that Katy and my Aunt Adriana Boender went to Northwestern together and were friends. Small world! Your mother always had a smile on her face and was very easy to talk to. We knew Wayne and Glenice and Don and Eunice well, too and she knew we rented Wayne and Glenice's land. Always had to ask how things were out on the farm. Your mother enjoyed life and it carried over into her children! As Christians we have a hope that can't be taken away. Cherish the memories!
