Shirley &Duane were neighbors to my aunt & uncle. She was a wonderful friend to Aunt Dorothy. She had the most cheerful personality of anyone I have known. Always busy. A very kind lady. Sorry this is so late, I was just skimming the obituaries. What I recognized was her smile.

Shirley was one special lady! She had so much LOVE in her heart for everyone that entered the Ass't. Living doors. I would go out to play UNO with some of the residents...she was always anxious to play and many times be there to greet me. I have missed visiting with her since the Covid has entered everyone's lives. She not only loved her family and her church, but she had that special kindness that is lacking in our world today. We need more Shirley's to show that love. I know the Home will miss her and I certainly will. I'm thankful that we became friends. Audrey Schmidt and Bob too.

From my earliest childhood memories, Aunt Shirley made life fun and exciting. She always had energy to spare. She showed up every Christmas with the biggest plate of homemade cookies and candies including her heavenly divinity! She was always positive and happy, no matter what life handed her. Her love of faith and family were second to none. Rest in Peace with your memories in tact, of a wonderful life, knowing you brought joy and laughter to all who loved you.
