I just can't believe this angel is gone. She was so kind to our family, and because of her love of nursing....I found it as my calling too. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. She will be sorely missed. My sympathy to the family.

Doug and family - Heaven has gained a beautiful angel! Ms. Ruthie was one of the kindest and gentlest souls we have ever met. From the days of sharing rides to the Eastern Star meetings to helping her pack when she moved from the house to the apartment. Her smile and generosity will always be ever present in my mind. May your memories give you peace and comfort at this time.

Doug, so sorry for the loss of your mom. Her and your dad Merlin were friends of my mom and dad Herb and Ruth Reekers for years. Your mom even took care of my mom when she needed a private nurse. They were wonderful people, and I remember your mom giving me my first Siamese cat. I named her Ling Ling, and she went everywhere with me. A great lady that will be missed....

I worked this weekend and wow do I miss her. I know she was ready to be with Linda and Marion and for that I am grateful. She will be miss she was a great woman and a lady always. Thoughts and prayers are with you and Chris and the rest of her family.
