Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I went to the nursing home. I some times played a hand or 2 with her & the other ladies. She was a good card player. I will miss her when I go out again.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Lela Mae, better known for many years, as "Grandma Paulsen" There are way too many memories to share from living in the same neighborhood for many many years. Her door was always opened with a smile and yummy candy treats for the girls. She was such a special lady and will always be remembered as "Grandma Paulsen" to my family!!
Sincere and loving prayers to all,
The Johnson's, Jerry, Dawn, Jill, Jennifer and Jessi

Have such warm and great memories of my time with Lela Mae and Eldon. Always being treated as a "third son". Being a "city slicker", who had to learn to be a farmer. Working hard, treasuring that after lunch nap, then getting after it hard in the afternoon. Helped instil a work ethic that I hope I display in my work place. Will alway remember that smile and laugh. Condolences to the boys and their families, our prayers and love will be with you in this tough time.

I have very fond memories of Lela Mea from her birthday cakes she made for me and her hollow easter eggs , and especially her brownies. Eldon and Lela Mae visted my parents in Mankato mn , I remember when her and I went to Ben Franklin store to pick something up and I like this toy truck , she said to me I will buy it if you promise to play with it , I said yes then she said it's yours I cherish that toy truck. She was a sweet and kind person and very thoughtful, and always kept us with the latest news Hearty that she sent to Mom and then I read the letter even i didn't know the people. She will always be in my thoughts.
