Obituary of Pamela Kay Leth

    Pamela Kay Leth, daughter of George and Pearl (Sorenson) Thomas, was born September 7, 1956 at Primghar, Iowa. She spent her youth around the Paullina, Iowa area and attended school there, graduating from Paullina High School. She furthered her education at Northwest Iowa Community College at Sheldon, Iowa.

    On September 20, 1975, Pam was united in marriage to Terry Lee Leth at the Presbyterian Church in Paullina. Following their marriage, they moved to Hartley, Iowa where they made their home and raised their three children: Josh, Codi, and Tiffany. Pam was a stay-at-home Mom and homemaker. While she enjoyed fishing and gardening, her favorite times were spent with her children and grandchildren nearby. If she ever found some quiet time, she also loved to crochet, creating beautiful treasures to share with her family.

    Pam passed from this life on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the age of 61. Preceding her in death were her husband, Terry Leth; her parents, George and Pearl Thomas; one sister, Rita Morgan; brothers: Jerry Thomas and Frederick Thomas; and one grandchild, Ethan Klaahsen.

    Grateful for having shared her life are her children: Josh Leth (Amanda Lindquist) of Everly, Iowa, Codi (Tom) Clarken of Ruthven, Iowa, and Tiffany Nasers of Hartley, Iowa; ten grandchildren; her brothers: Donald Thomas of Sutherland, Iowa, Ronald (Patricia) Thomas of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Kirt (Deb) Thomas of Mound, Minnesota, and Richard Thomas of New Ulm, Minnesota; her sisters: Liz Peters of Sutherland, Iowa, and Alicia (Jesse) Crouch of Hartley, Iowa; sister-in-law, Jan Thomas of Kanawha, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
