Obituary of Karen Paulette Webber

Karen Paulette Webber, daughter of Raymond John and Murine Margaret (Schewe) Webber, was born June 26, 1953 at Hendricks, Minnesota. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley, Iowa. When she was very young, her family relocated to Spencer, Iowa where she spent her youth. She was confirmed at First English Lutheran Church at Spencer and attended the Spencer Community School, graduating with the class of 1971. Following high school, Karen furthered her education at the Spencer School of Business. After graduation, she worked in a secretarial position for a few years until gaining employment at Aalf's Manufacturing, also located in Spencer. When the company closed its doors, Karen worked at several different jobs until her health demanded all her attention. Karen's pets were a major part of her life. Her cats and dogs offered her great company and she considered them as part of her family that she cared for. Television game shows and soap operas provided daily entertainment, but any time spent with her family was always the best. Karen passed from this life on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the age of 63. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ray and Murine Webber; her brother, Kurt Webber; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Thankful for having shared in her life are her brother, Keith Webber and his wife, Judy of Hartley, Iowa; and her uncle, LuVerne Schewe and his wife Donna of Granite Falls, MN; other relatives and friends.
