Directly or indirectly, I've been a distanced part of the Wagenaar family for years. Just a year ago, I believe, a granddaughter who lives right up the road from here was in one of my last college classes at Dordt. But I've met a goodly number of you, it seems, and enjoyed the meetings. I grew to know both Sharon and Denny quite well before Sharon died--and then Denny; and Dean always was one of my favorite students. I didn't know your mother, but if our children bear the characters of their parents, then your mother was a wonderful, caring human being with a generous sense of God's love. I can only imagine the wonderful chats she's having right now with those two dear departed daughters. And they'll laugh, too, I'm sure. Blessings to all of you. . .jcs
