I have fond memories of our times at MHS, driving up and down the main street, hanging out at the cafe, playing ball any place we could find some open ground, his Mom & Dad, a wonderful part of my life. JoAnn & the DeYoung Family, I was so sad and sorry to learn of Lanny's passing. I had heard he was seriously ill and truly regret not contacting him. As a classmate of Lanny's, I have many fond memories of Lanny during our growing up years! Especially our trip to Denver when we were in high school! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. He was a great man, a one of a kind!

DeYoung Family, My family has enjoyed connections w/ Lanny at the Locker and his Dad Johnny on so many occasions over the years. Both men were of utmost character--great guys! JoAnn, Jennifer, Aaron and Martha- You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time- I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. Jo Ann and family. It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to see you and your family. Just received a phone call from someone in IA telling me about Lanny. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I have too many memories to write about Lanny when I had the opportunity (seems a lifetime ago) to work for him at the Melvin. He was a wonderful man and very gracious employer and friend. You are in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time and days ahead.
