Obituary of Susan Bentley

Susan Kay Bentley was born on July 24, 1947, in May City, IA to Delmer and Flora (Recher) Wille. She spent her youth growing up near May City and graduated from Hartley High School in 1965. Susan went on to attend Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA. Before settling down in Minneapolis, Susan spent a couple of years living in Denver, CO. Later on, she moved to Minneapolis, where she was married and started her family. In 1980, she gave birth to her son Patrick; she gave birth to her daughter Nicole in 1982. Unfortunately, she did divorce, but continued to be a caring and wonderful mother. Susan worked at IDS when she first moved to Minneapolis, and later worked at Aetna and Preferred One. While working at IDS, Aetna and Preferred One, she made some wonderful friends who she enjoyed spending most of her free time with. Susan passed away at her home in St. Louis Park, MN on Monday September, 26, 2011 at the age of 64. Susan loved gardening, traveling, going to the Movie Theater and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children: Patrick Bentley and his special friend Celia Peters of Minnetonka, MN, Nicole Bentley and her special friend, Mark Flinn, of Phoenix, AZ; four brothers: Dale (Judy) Wille of Spring Valley, MN, Daryl (Muriel) Wille, of Tracy, CA, Jerry (Susie) Wille of Tama, IA, and Mike (Michelle) Wille of Des Moines, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Wayne Wille.
