Belated condolences on your loss. Steven was my mother's nephew. My mother was Joyce Iverson Montgomery, brother of Lyle Iverson, who I believe is Steven's biological father. Both he and mom shared the "family disease" and Steven would visit mom and dad in Grinnell from time to time. They became quite close. Mom was so grateful to know him, as we had lost track of most of Lyle's family as he had such a tough time with the disease himself, it seemed to distance him from the family. At any rate. I thought you should know he was loved by my mom and dad. I met him a time or two myself. He was a nice fellow and very upbeat. Again, condolences. If your family happens to seek more biological info regarding the disease I have some and/or the University of Iowa has many, many records on my mother's disease. BTW, he clearly had the Iverson look.
