Obituary of Sandeanne Vetter

Please share a memory of Sandeanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Born June 5, 1957 in Hartley, Iowa, Sandeanne K. Linder was the only child born to Robert and Edna (Puck) Linder. She was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in the Trinity Church of Christ in Hartley. Sandeanne was raised in Hartley, graduating with honors from Hartley High School in 1975. She attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. Sandeanne married Gale Marlin Vetter on February 14, 1981. They farmed on the Vetter family farm north of Hartley and moved to town in December 2004, continuing their farming operation. She became a member of the Hartley United Methodist Church upon marriage where she taught Sunday School for 17 years. She belonged to Faith Circle, United Methodist Women, and was an active member of T.T.T. Sandeanne liked the simple things in life. She was a loving stay-at-home wife and mother, helping her husband farm and raising her two children, attending all of their school activities and sports. She loved to spend time with them and her grandson, Trevor. She also enjoyed collecting Precious Moments figurines. Sandeanne was especially known for making friends wherever she went, as well as for her “gift of gab”. She lived a somewhat frugal lifestyle, as she didn't want anything to go to waste, but she never hesitated to spend money on her children and family. Once her children were raised and gone, Sandeanne kept herself busy cleaning houses. She enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her husband, Gale, of 31 years; one daughter, Shanna Tadic, her husband Dan, and their son, Trevor Nikolai, of Sitka, AK; one son, Colby Vetter of Hartley, IA; one sister-in-law, Becky Tschopp, and her husband, Wally, of Spirit Lake, IA and their children, Nathan and Brea; one brother-in-law, Gary Vetter, and his wife, Dawn, of St. Charles, IA and their children, Jaci and Jarek; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert, on November 14, 1979, and her beloved mother, Edna, on September 12, 2002, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
