Obituary of Jesse Winfield McCune
Please share a memory of Jesse to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jesse Winfield McCune was born May 26, 1982, to Kimberly “Kim” (Smith) and William “Bill” Winfield McCune. He was destined for greatness and a life well lived. His parents did not know how great a man he would be, but they did know that he would show the world kindness, joy, and live a life of wonderment.
As he grew up, he found joy in games and imagination. He wondered if he would be the noble knight, or the dastardly rogue warrior. Nay, good sir, he turned out to be the one who wrote the story of the princesses, dragons, dungeons, and all things dastardly. With his friends by his side, his family at his back, and his dice at the ready, he knew he would conquer any feat imaginable.
Jesse was the best of friends to any wandering warrior and to all who needed rest. He spent many nights laughing late into the night with the best and worst of us. He gave his all to his family and loved his family with a heart bigger than any dragon hoard. His generosity knew no bounds. If only you would ask, he would give.
His death on the 18th of May has caused great sadness in the hearts of all who he has touched. The dungeon master has laid down his dice. He is missed by many friends and family.
