Posts to the tribute of William Henry Knock

It is with a heavy heart that I will not be able to attend the funeral. The weather does not permit travel from Minnesota to Iowa. Bill was my big brother who was always there with a hug and a smile. I remember when he was in the service; he would send home slides and letters that we watched and read over and over. He will be greatly missed by those of us left behind but I know he and Margie are dancing in Heaven. He’s probably singing Band of Gold and enjoying time with Jim.

Bill's smile and laugh is what I remember most about Bill. He was part of the group of Bim, Willy, and Doug that could make my dad laugh until he cried. He was a great friend to my mom and dad. Cherish your great family memories. Denny Mouw
