Obituary of Clara Reiser

Clara Anna (Voth) Reiser, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Schultz) Voth was born in Benedict, ND, on April 18, 1920. Her childhood years were spent at Turtle Lake and Garrison, ND. On May 15, 1945, Clara married Erwin Reiser. They were blessed with six children. They lived the majority of their married life in St. Charles, MN. Erwin passed away on July 4, 2001. In September of 2012, Clara moved to Hartley, IA, to be closer to her daughter. She entered the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley on June 6, 2013, and passed away there, surrounded by family, on Friday, June 28, 2013, at age 93. Clara enjoyed baking and cooking, as well as crocheting, fishing and gardening. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in St. Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Erwin, son Roland, great-granddaughter, Shelby, and five siblings, Wesley, Elsie, Florence, Ora and Lily. Left to cherish her memory are her children and their families: Bev (Dan) Mohni of Hartley, IA, Steven (Mary) Reiser of St. Charles, MN, Grover (Jean) Reiser of Everly, IA, Curtis (Donna) Reiser of Rochester, MN, and Wade (LaVonne) Reiser of Eyota, MN; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; brothers Arlo (Frieda) Voth of Turtle Lake, ND, and Lynn (Betty) Voth of Minot, ND; sisters Verla Meyer of Sioux Falls, SD, Harriet Christopherson and Ella Rime, both of Garrison, ND, and Vivian Kraft of Turtle Lake, ND; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
